The capital of Ukraine fights for the first price in the number of the most extraordinary monuments. One of them is “hedgehog in fog”, which appeared at the corner of Zolotovorotskaya and Reitarskaya streets last winter. The author of this sculpture architecture Konstantyn Skretutsky is going to inhabit streets of the city with hundred of monumental cats.
“Cats are true Kiev citizens. Furthermore they call positive emotions on faces of almost all people. That’s why I decided to dedicate the series of monuments to these animals.” – says an artist.
The first cat took its place on the tree near the metro station “Zolotye Vorota”. He’s made of … the throwaway forks. Another cat 2 meters in height will soon appear at the Peizazhna Alley near the Historical Museum. He will be covered with colorful mosaic and there will be a bench in his mouth. Everyone will have an opportunity to seat and have rest there.
